HIR will take your faxed drawings and begin creating the GRAPHIC wire frame model. We streamline GRAPHICS by means of modeling extrusion and 3D Orbiting. This allows HIR to create, manipulate and place objects accordingly such as adding or adjusting walls, openings and columns (please refer to the Graphics, Terms and Conditions section of this website for graphic control).
-
Next, we turn the wire frame model into a 3D primitive model by editing polygon shapes. Chamfer, fillet and shell solid commands are used extensively to hide useless lines. As one can see the image becomes more visible.
-
The first of many animation sequencing begins. This first process allows HIR to prepare for material and color application. As a painter applies primer before the base coat, so does HIR apply a multilevel and complex shading scheme to ensure all 3D primitives are capable of receiving colors and textures.
-
Base colors are added to the drawing. The rendering begins to take shape.
-
More rendering techniques are applied including interpolation of surface normals in rasterizing polygons. Surface and texture rendering commands are rigorously applied to bring the colored rendering to life. As one can see the texture on the cabinets, table and brick begin to develop.
-
Loose lines or spikes occasionally show up during intense graphic rendering. Therefore, a second and third base primer is added to capture any flaws the rendering may have. Phong shading is introduced via Radiosity and Ray-Tracing. Hence, reflection and refraction begin to take form as can be seen on the floors and refrigerator.
-
Notice the application of textures applied to the individual materials. As consistent with the Box Rendering Method and our Mission Statement, the ceiling is intentionally left off adding rendering price savings to the customer. Our color schemes below the ceiling level help our customers make important decisions before big ticket items are purchased for home improvement projects.
-
Attenuating light sources are hidden but meticulously manipulated within the drawing. Multiple lighting setups are used to create shade and shadow as evidenced on the dining room floor and walls. SCHEME CHANGE - Notice how the graphics remain the same but the ceramic tile and grout line has changed color. Scheme Changes prevent HIR from regenerating a drawing.
-
A digitized color label CD depicting multiple colored renderings is then sent to the customer for viewing purposes.
